Welcome to the Summer, 2013 online course
for Astronomy 1040 at MSU. You may have received a previous
e-mail from Professor Sessions about AST 1040 but he is no longer
teaching the course. The course will NOT be run from his website,
but through Backboard and ConnectU (just as you would do with
your other courses). The course will still officially begin, next
week on June 10th.
If you have not already done so, please
be sure to login to ConnectU from the MSU website as soon as possible –
all of the course content will be delivered via Blackboard.
Review the links on the front page of AST-1040 (section 004)
Blackboard site and make sure you inspect the calendar there.
Note all of the due dates for material during the summer semester and
be sure to transfer them to your personal calendars so that you do not
miss anything! The course syllabus is available in the menu on the
left, below the calendar and the email.
